Smile

The day is well along in age, but then I feel night  on the horizon.
I love to see smiles on the face of people, but devoid of any ill intent.
Dum vivimus vivamus that is "Lets Us Live While We Live"

Ghana Music

Off-late the music industry in Ghana is booming, granted there challenges. But we can be confident that even the recent MAMA Awards in Lagos, Nigeria saw the showcase of Ghana's fastest rapper (Sarkodie) if not the fastest on the African continent. He really show what Ghana music has to offer-in fact he prove "The best really comes from the West" and  that is Ghana for real.
I am a fun of some of his music, but to admit as well, many artist crown the show too big ups to all.

Global Warming

Once I watched a documentary on a local television not more than five (5) years ago, on the effect of global warming on the Island Tuvalu in perspective. It was a shocking scene, as the inhabitants has a constant feature sea waters having residence in their dwellings. The effect of global warming has become a daily concern. Whiles one place is being flooded because of rising sea levels, the other side of the coin gets drought. Parts of Africa, Australia can indubitably attest to this very fact.

Clearly, rising 'temperatures could intensify storms, floods and drought' as reported by Awake! August 2008. As the global  temperatures  rises, then glaciers in the Himalayas will evaporate and thus cutting the supply of fresh water to over 39.9% (or 2.793 billion) of the worlds population, most of which are found in the Asian continent.

Countless number of  bears are sure to lose weight and even starve as the polar regions clear away. The spread of Malaria causing diseases, and other disease causing agents like ticks will flourish as the temperatures rises.

The year 2007 saw a cluster of weather related problems and disasters, which lead the United Nations to issues 14 emergency calls of appeals, which was 4 more than the previous two (2) years. In the year 2007, Britain had more than 350,000 people affected by the worst flooding since 60 years, in West Africa, over 800,000 were displaced by flooding of which Ghana was no exception, Bangladesh more than 8 million were affected by flooding and over 3000 killed and countless animal lives destroyed, and the United States had 4800,000 residents of South California displaced as result of wild fires.

In fact, "the dangers posed by climate change are dire as those posed by nuclear weapons"-by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. If green house gases are trapped in the earths atmosphere and every day more emissions do occur then the rate at which changes attributed to global warming will increase at positive exponential rate.

Hence, the decimation of the earths flora and fauna is a key threat to the survival of the human species and the biological symphonic relationship which should have existed amongst these .

It's normal getting worried over these genuine concerns, but then as many are in despair, those whose faith are strongly enshrined on the tenets of the Inspired Scriptures (The Bible) have faith (a believe based on evidence-Hebrews 11:1) that the situation will not go unattended to by Jehovah (The Almighty God).
For His world the bible clearly states at Revelation 11:18-"those ruining the earth He will bring to ruin". Just imagine, countless number of greedy "commercialist" polluting our water bodies, the atmosphere as well as the earth will be done away with, a loving provision from the God of love-1 John 4:7, 8.
He will do this by means of a heavenly kingdom that He has set-up in heaven, which will crush this wicked and cancerous systems of things of this world-Daniel 2:44; 7:13,14; 1Corinthians15:24-28.
Come to think of it, all greedy politicians and their cohorts gone for good my goodness peace at last for the mild tempered ones-Matthew 5:5; Psalm 37:9-11, 28, 29; Compare Isaiah 11:1-9.
The world will become a global paradise and a not a global warming and the issue of global warming will never be called to mind again-Revelation 21:1-5; Compare Isaiah 33:24; 65:21-25.
Cancer of the skin, wrinkles and the issue of aging will be gone for good-Compare Job 33:25.
The dead will rise again including those who have lost their lives as a result of global warming related effects-John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15 and Job 14:14,15.

Be hopeful, and wait on Jehovah-but then let's do what we can in fighting global warming whiles relying wholly on Jehovah God, the Only true God for a global solution -Proverbs 3:5,6; John 17:3.

Climate Change.

Provided every 20 minutes someone dies as result of global warming, tell me what will the state of affairs as per the year 2050.
Endeavoring to put out  the electric gadget when not in use or by cutting the emissions, you could be saving your own precious life and the countless many.
Let's kill global warming before global warming kills us.

Current Affairs: African Politics

Current Affairs: African Politics: "Do you see the current spate of politics being practiced in Sub-Saharan Africa? It's purely devoid of morality and moral fiber. Why? Selfish..."

Current Affairs: Religious Conflicts in Our Common Era.

Current Affairs: Religious Conflicts in Our Common Era.

Religious Conflicts in Our Common Era.

Our world today is pregnant with many religious sects, very innumerable, of course these have tenets and facets that are either for "good or bad". What do you think, has religious bodies in your area being a force for good or otherwise? Throughout man's history, religion has played a key role in demoralizing the very essence of human nature, think of the two bloody world wars, the so-called crusades in the 13th Century, and the galaxy of religious conflicts the world over.
What accounted for this is very oblivious to clerics of these faiths, if not, then why do they cook peace for dinner only to serve evil. I am not a fanatic of faith(s) that provide a facade and pseudo peace preached from the pulpits of anarchy and disorientation, neither am I do prejudice those adherents.

Just that I maintain a clear cut stand when it comes religious view, conflicts and the issue of peace.
The way forward as per the precepts of our moral conscience can be adjudge rightly with respect to time.

I believe advocates of a world without religion will be committing serious fallacies too, since the state of having no religions at all is a religion in itself, that is, the state of worshiping ones essence, or the state, and thus constituting self gratification in the highest order. That too will falsify the state of having no religion as an interlude to peace. Since, if religions have not  become a labyrinth of peace then how can a state of no-religion (which is a religion in disguise) be free from blame? Of course not!
I strongly believe that the God of the heavens deserves better. The Almighty must not be hypocritically obeyed. The veracity of any statement pertaining to  the Almighty God (whose name I have learned from the Bible to be Jehovah-Psalm 83:18 King James Version) must be verified from the The Bible.

The Climate Change.

Have you realize that of-late the issue of climate change is being placed at the ivory tower. Come to Africa, drought in Sudan, 'deluge' in Niger, low crop yield in some parts of Africa. The issue of climate change needs a bigger solution and I strongly hold that man's efforts will be and is always flawed. As some try to put off their electric gadgets and cuts emissions, some are busily polluting either knowing or unknowingly. I am not been pessimistic neither am I begging the issue. I am facing facts as per what the scientist puts across for us. Even in my little place in Africa, I can attest to these very facts; rising  tidies in Greater Accra Region, exceeding heat waves and bad humid conditions, to name just a few. This is increasingly beyond human control. Greediness and avarice stands as key opponents to any success yet to be won by the fight against climate change.

African Politics

Do you see the current spate of politics being practiced in Sub-Saharan Africa? It's purely devoid of morality and moral fiber. Why? Selfishness has taken the grips of these politicians, come to thing of it, can there be any moral justification for one to cling to power when all odds are against him? Absolutely not! It's a great shame to our dear continent. Morality as a desired consequence of any action is clearly oblivious to these pseudo politicians and even the so-called good intent of the rest is on the verge of collapse.

No wonder what the Bible [the inspired SCRIPTURES SAYS IS THE CASE].
PLEASE READ WITH ME:
Daniel chapter 2: 44;Mathew 6:9-10, 1Corinthians 15:24-28,and Isaiah 11:1-9( a prophesy yet to be fulfilled on a grand scale).

What do you thing?
